Launch Pad 39 Prepped for SES-3 ILS Proton Launch

The launch campaign for the first ILS Proton shared launched is underway. The ILS launch vehicle will carry the SES-3 (OS-2) satellite for SES WORLD SKIES of Princeton, New Jersey, in addition to the KazSat-2 satellite for the Kazakhstan Government.

While the teams at the Baikonur Cosmodrome prepare the hardware at Launch Pad 39 for the upcoming launch, the Breeze M Upper Stage is undergoing processing at site 92A-50.

Launch is scheduled for July 2011.
