Anik F3 Satellite Arrives in Baikonur | |
| March 13, 2007 - Telesat's Anik F3 multipurpose telecommunications arrived satellite Saturday morning at the Yubileny airport of the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan, in anticipation of its launch next month on a Proton Breeze M vehicle. | |

| The spacecraft and all the equipment needed for ground preparations were brought to the launch site via an Antonov 124 cargo plane. The plane was unloaded and the equipment transported by rail to the vehicle assembly and test facility, Building 92-50. The satellite and the Proton vehicle are prepared for launch in the same building. | |
