CAPE CANAVERAL AIR FORCE STATION, Fla., Dec. 15, 2003 – Tonight's launch attempt of an Atlas III rocket with the Navy's UFO F11 satellite was scrubbed because a temperature measurement was below limit on a piece of ground support equipment.
The unit interfaces with the booster's liquid oxygen tank. The launch has been rescheduled for December 17 at 9:30 pm. The Atlas III rocket was built by Lockheed Martin, and the mission is managed by International Launch Services. The satellite is a Boeing 601 model built for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command. ### |
