| Baikonur Cosmodrome, June 25 2005 – A Proton launch vehicle successfully deployed the Express AM-3 communications satellite. This was the fourth Proton launch of 2005. A Proton Breeze M successfully lifted the DIRECTV 8 satellite into orbit on 22 May under International Launch Services.
