BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, May 13, 2009 — Today the Proton Breeze M launcher dedicated to lift the IndoStar II/ProtoStar II telecommunications satellite was moved by rail (rolled out) and erected on Pad 39 in Area 200, at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The rocket completed its Breeze M fueling yesterday.

Roll out occurred at 06:30 local time, following the Russian State Commission meeting approving the readiness of the launcher to be erected. Once installed vertically onto the launch pad, the Proton was enclosed inside a service tower used for continuing prelaunch operations.

From now until launch, health checks of the subsystems and launch facilities will occur to maintain the readiness of the vehicle.

Launch of the IndoStar II/ProtoStar II satellite is scheduled for May 15 at 20:57 EDT, May 16 at 06:57 Baikonur, 00:57 GMT.
