Today, on May 16 at 01:42 am Moscow Time, the Proton M Breeze M Launch Vehicle with Express AM4R communications spacecraft lifted off from Baikonur Cosmodrome.

During the 3rd stage flight, the launch vehicle developed an anomaly and the Express AM4R spacecraft was not placed into its intended orbit.

Currently, representatives from the Russian State Commission are reviewing telemetry information in an attempt to identify the cause of the anomaly.
