The ILS Proton SES-3 (OS-2) launch campaign continues nominally at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

The Breeze M has been mounted to the tilter and the KazSat-2 and SES-3 satellites, with their respective adapters, are both now stacked on top.

Experts recently completed tests of the electrical connections between the SES-3 spacecraft and the Breeze M upper stage, in preparation for encapsulation into the payload fairing.

Launch of the ILS Proton rocket with both the Kazsat-2 and SES-3 satellites onboard is scheduled for July 2011.
