The crew is working hard to get the Proton launch vehicle and Yamal-301 spacecraft ready for the May 30 launch.
The new satellite will replace Yamal-202 at 49 degrees east longitude in orbit and will provide fixed-line communications and data transmission services in the C-band in a large part of Russia, as well as in the CIS, Europe, Middle East and South-Eastern Asia.
In addition, the satellite will provide users in the territory of Russia with communication services and high-speed Internet access in the Ka-band. Watch:
