Following the State Review Board’s decision earlier today, the Proton M/Yamal-401 integrated launch vehicle (ILV) was rolled out to Launch Complex.

The ILV is now installed onto the launch pad. After the ILV roll-up to the service tower and required hookups were complete, specialists from Khrunichev and other Roscosmos entities proceeded with the operations specified for the Day 1 countdown schedule.

The launch of Yamal 401 is scheduled for 15 December. This will be 7th launch for the Proton in 2014 and the 400th Proton mission since 1965.
