SAN DIEGO, Feb. 3, 2000 – An Atlas rocket soared eastward above the Atlantic Ocean tonight carrying a Spanish commercial communications satellite to orbit for Madrid-based HISPASAT, a satellite communication systems provider for Europe and the Americas.
