BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, May 15, 2001 – A Russian-built Proton K rocket successfully launched the PAS-10 communications satellite for PanAmSat Corp. today, marking the first mission of the year for International Launch Services (ILS).
SAN DIEGO, Nov. 4, 1998 – A Proton rocket blasted into space this morning from Baikonur Cosmodrome in the Republic of Kazakhstan at 10:12 a.m (9:12 p.m. USA PST, Nov. 3) carrying PanAmSat Corporation’s PAS-8 communications satellite to geosynchronous transfer orbit.
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 28, 1998 – International Launch Services (ILS) announced today that a combined Russian and American team is conducting final preparations to launch a Proton rocket on November 4 with PanAmSat Corporation’s PAS-8 communications satellite aboard. The rocket is scheduled to lift off from Baikonur Cosmodrome in the Republic of Kazakhstan at 10:12 a.m. (9:12 p.m. USA Pacific Standard Time, Nov. 3). The launch window is ten minutes long.
SAN DIEGO, Aug. 28, 1997 – A Proton rocket blasted into space this morning from Baikonur Cosmodrome in the Republic of Kazakhstan at 6:33 a.m (8:33 p.m. EDT, Aug. 27) carrying PanAmSat Corporation’s PAS-5 communications satellite to geosynchronous transfer orbit.
