ILS Successfully Launches AMC-11 Satellite; Celebrates 5 Missions in 5 Months

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla., May 19, 2004 — International Launch Services (ILS) marked another successful mission tonight, after its Atlas IIAS rocket placed the AMC-11 satellite into orbit for SES AMERICOM.Both the rocket and the satellite were built by Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE:LMT), which is also a partner in the ILS joint venture. This was the fifth launch for ILS in 2004, four of which have been on Atlas rockets. This also was the 72nd consecutive successful launch for the Atlas vehicle family.

OTTAWA, April 28, 2004 — International Launch Services (ILS) of the United States and Telesat, one of the world�s leading satellite operators, are teaming up once again to launch a satellite on a Russian rocket. Telesat announced today that it has chosen an ILS Proton/Breeze M launch vehicle for the Anik F3 mission in 2006. Financial terms were not disclosed.

ILS Successfully Launches Superbird-6 Satellite for Japan

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla., April 15, 2004 – The Superbird-6 satellite is in orbit tonight thanks to a successful launch on an Atlas IIAS rocket provided by International Launch Services (ILS).Liftoff of the Atlas vehicle, built by Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT), was at 8:45 p.m. EDT (00:45 April 16 GMT). The rocket released the satellite into its target transfer orbit 30 minutes later.

Baikonur Cosmodrome, March 27, 2004 — A Proton launch vehicle successfully deployed a military satellite officially called "Cosmos-2406" at 13:06 Moscow Time. This was the second Proton launch in two weeks. On March 16, a Proton Breeze M successfully launched the W3A satellite in a commercial mission for International Launch Services.

BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, March 16, 2004 – A Russian Proton rocket successfully placed the Eutelsat W3A satellite into orbit this morning, marking the second mission in three days for International Launch Services (ILS).This was the first flight of the year for the Khrunichev-built Proton vehicle, which has carried out more than 300 missions for the Russian government and commercial customers over nearly 40 years.

CAPE CANAVERAL AIR FORCE STATION, Fla., March 13, 2004 – An International Launch Services (ILS) Atlas III rocket blasted off early this morning, successfully orbiting the MBSAT satellite for Space Systems/Loral (SS/L). This was the 70th consecutive successful flight of an Atlas vehicle, and the second launch of the year conducted by ILS, a Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) joint venture.
