ILS DECLARES PROTON LAUNCH ANOMALY

BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, May 16, 2015– Khrunichev and International Launch Services (ILS) regret to announce an anomaly during today's Proton mission with the Centenario satellite. The satellite was built for Mexican government’s Ministry of Communications and Transportation, the Secretaria de Comunicaciones y Transportes (SCT) by Boeing Satellite Systems International.

ILS Proton Successfully Launches the Inmarsat-5 F2 Satellite For Inmarsat; Second Global Xpress®Satellite Launch in 3-constellation Series

BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, February 1, 2015 – An International Launch Services (ILS) Proton Breeze M successfully placed the Inmarsat-5 F2 (I-5 F2) satellite into a super-synchronous transfer orbit (SSTO) today. The spacecraft was launched for Inmarsat, the leading provider of global mobile satellite communications services. I-5 F2 is the second of three Inmarsat next-generation Global Xpress® satellites scheduled for launch on ILS Proton. This marks the first Proton launch of the year and the fourth SSTO mission for ILS, a leader in providing mission integration and launch services to the global commercial satellite industry.

ILS Proton Successfully Launches the ASTRA 2G Satellite for SES

SES is a world-leading satellite operator, providing satellite communications solutions to broadcast, telecom, corporate and government customers worldwide. This was the 8th Proton launch of the year and the 3rd ILS mission for 2014.

ILS Proton Successfully Launches the Yamal-401 Satellite Marking the 400th Proton Mission

BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, December 15, 2014 – International Launch Services (ILS), a leader in providing mission integration and launch services to the global commercial satellite industry, successfully launched the Yamal-401 satellite into geosynchronous orbit today on an ILS Proton for JSC Gazprom Space Systems (Gazprom) of Moscow. This was the landmark 400th mission for the Proton launch vehicle since its first flight in 1965.

BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, November 26 – The launch of an ILS Proton launch vehicle with the ASTRA 2G satellite was postponed today due to the off-nominal operation of the Breeze M upper stage gyro unit during planned pre-flight testing.

ILS Proton Successfully Launches SES-6 for SES

BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, June 4, 2013 – International Launch Services (ILS) successfully placed the SES-6 satellite into a super-synchronous transfer orbit (SSTO) today, for SES of Luxembourg. With this launch, ILS, a leader in providing mission integration and launch services to the global commercial satellite industry, completed its second SSTO mission with the Proton vehicle.

Russian Federal Mission with TELKOM 3 and EXPRESS MD2 Satellites Anomaly Investigation Underway; Russian State Commission Established

On 7 August at 1:31 a.m. local time, a Proton Breeze M vehicle carrying the Express MD2 and Telkom 3 satellites launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The Proton M launch vehicle performed nominally, however, the Orbital Unit (OU), comprised of the Breeze M upper stage and the two spacecraft, did not properly reach its transfer orbit and was placed into an off-nominal intermediate orbit. The Aerospace Defense and Roscosmos, are currently monitoring the OU and efforts are now underway to establish contact with the Express MD2 and Telkom 3 satellites.

ILS Proton Successfully Launches SES-5 for SES

BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, July 10, 2012– International Launch Services (ILS), a leading launch services provider for the global commercial satellite industry, successfully carried the SES-5 satellite into geostationary transfer orbit today on an ILS Proton for SES of Luxembourg (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG). This was the 21th SES satellite launched on ILS Proton, the 23rd launch of a Space Systems/Loral satellite, and the 74th ILS Proton launch overall.
