Proton Succesfully Launches Express AM-2
BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, March 30, 2005 — A Proton launch vehicle successfully deployed the Express AM-2 communications satellite today. This was the second Proton launch of 2005. A Proton Breeze M successfully lifted the AMC-12 satellite into orbit on February 3 under International Launch Services.Built by Khrunichev State Research and Production Center in Moscow, Proton is one of the premier launch systems in the world.

Proton #220 Successfully Launches Express

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 27, 1996 – International Launch Services is proud to report another successful launch of a Proton launch vehicle on 26 September 1996, at 9:50 p.m., Moscow time. The “Express” satellite was launched by a 4 stage Proton launch vehicle. This Proton was launched from area 200 in Baikonur.
