Proton Successfully Orbited Two Russian Satellites

April 28, 2014 The Proton Breeze M launch vehicle successfully placed the KazSat-3 and Luch-5V satellites for the Russian Federal Government into geostationary orbit today. The vehicle lifted off at 8:25 a.m. Moscow time from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.  The dual launch was the 8th successful consecutive launch of Proton since September 2013 and the third launch of the Proton vehicle this year.

Proton Successfully Orbited Two Russian Satellites

March 16, 2014The Proton Breeze M launch vehicle successfully placed the Express AT-1 and Express AT-2 satellites into orbit today. The vehicle lifted off at 3:08 a.m. Moscow time from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.  After 9 hours, both spacecraft separated from the Breeze M and were released into geostationary orbit. This was the 2nd launch of the Proton vehicle this year and the 395th overall since its first flight in 1965.
