Jim Kramer has been appointed Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Communications at International Launch Services (ILS). Jim has held various positions at ILS with progressive levels of responsibility in both the sales and technical organizations. Jim has nearly 30 years of career experience in launch vehicle design, program management, business development, commercial and government sales and worked on the Atlas program with General Dynamics Space Systems Co. and Commercial Launch Services in San Diego, CA. prior to the formation of ILS. He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from the University of Minnesota and prior to that, attended the United States Air Force Academy. “Jim is well suited for his new role at ILS and is an excellent addition to the senior leadership team,” said ILS President, Phil Slack.
Jim fills the position formerly held by Dawn Harms, who is leaving ILS for a new opportunity. Slack added, “Dawn has made many significant contributions to our organization over nearly two years and we wish her the very best in her new endeavor.”
